Dr.Divya Prabhat

Dr. Divya Prabhat is well known name in medical service in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Practicing the ENT surgery since 1989 and teaching at the same time show his passion for serving the community.
Multifaceted Dr Prabhat:
From the days of his student Dr Prabhat has been actively associated with extracurricular activities besides studies. He has been active under graduate 1980-1984 at G.S. Medical College & KEM Hospital and passed the exams with distinctions at II & III MBBS Examinations He had been amongst batch of 1985–1989 Post graduate elite groups in G.S. Medical College & KEM Hospital and was first amongst candidates at MS exams at KEM. His versatility can be seen in the fact that he edited GOSUMAG - college magazine - (1984 – 1989) with passion and love and was member of winning college team in Elocution, Swimming and Dramatics. From 1989–1993 periods he served as a Lecturer at G.S. Medical College & KEM Hospital, the two colleges of repute where he once studied.

A man with Pen Dr. Prabhat:
He practiced at the same time and was so involved in the practice that each case opened the vistas wider and wider. Not only his patients benefited from it but also the other members of his fraternity who got insight of this genius through the books he wrote on ENT.
Writing professionally since 2007, he has earned many accolades for his books. His MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS in ENT went into II edition in .2008, DISEASES Of ENT came up as II edition in 2008, In the year 2009 his EAR-NOSE-THROAT entered in III edition and PRACTICAL ENT (VII edition ) also came in the same year.2009 ) . These books stand as testimony of thorough knowledge. Besides this he has 36 Published research articles in national and international journals to his name and has presented research papers at 13 national conferences during the period - 1989-2005.

Orator and OrganiserDr. Prabhat:
After successfully Organising the first Indo-Australian Cochlear implant workshop at Wadia hospital in the year 199; he started spreading his knowledge as a Guest speaker at over 60 CME programmes world wideduring the decade 1990-2009. He was specifically invited to international conferences and every time he was taken notice of. He was Speaker at XVI IFOS World congress held in Sydney (1997).Cairo (2002), and Nairobi (2003).

Media savvy Dr. Prabhat:
With the arrival of new technology, his mission of education got boost and he thought of VIDEO CASSETTES & CDs. His first teaching cassette (120 min) for students of ENT came out in 1991 followed by Operative cassette on LASER Surgery in ENT. Then came the medium even powerful then CDs, Television. There he got chance to interact with public at large directly. On TV programmers list, his name was first as an authority on ENT. Soon his interviews were on Doordarshan, Metro, Zee and Care TV channels.

Caring and loving Dr. Prabhat:
For those who could reach him but needed him badly, he went out to them as a part of Operative Camps. He has played important role in about eight such camps organized in Kenya and Tanzania.
For people of India, he has attended 11 operative camps in Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh.

Versatile Dr. Prabhat:
Besides following his regular practice, today he is
(a) ENT consultant of Times of India group/ CRI, Mumbai.
(b) Examiner with Mumbai University – MBBS since 1993.
(c) College of Homeopathy –BHMS /DHMS (1993)
(d) Marathwada university – MS (2001)
(e) College of Physicians & Surgeons – DORL (2002 ).
